Day 1: Arrival in Riga

Day 2: Riga

  • Morning guided Riga Old Town walking tour including world famous Art Nouveau streets.
    The Swedish Gates, the House of the Blackheads, the Dome Cathedral and Dome Square, St.Peter's Church, Riga Castle, Livu Square, the Freedom Monument, the Powder Tower, Three Brothers, Great and Small Guildhalls, Cat House, Latvian National Opera, Art Nouveau streets – Alberta, Strelnieku and Elizabetes. Organ Music Concert at the Dome Cathedral.
  • Afternoon guided tour to beautiful Sigulda town situated in the Gauja National Park.
    Turaida Museum Reserve and Turaida Castle, Livonian Order Sigulda Castle, Krimulda Medieval Castle and Krimulda Manor, the New Castle of Sigulda, Gutman's Cave and Sigulda Cable car over the Gauja River Valley.
  • Evening performance at the Latvian National Opera.
    Riga's White House - the Latvian National Opera on Aspazijas Boulevard was opened in 1923; an average of six new productions are presented each year, retaining a balance between opera and ballet. In total, the opera sees over 200 performances and several symphonic and chamber music concerts a season.

Day 3: Riga – Stockholm

Day 5: Helsinki – St.Petersburg

Day 6: St.Petersburg

  • Evening performance at the Mariinsky Theatre.
    For more than two centuries the Mariinsky Theatre has been presenting the world with a plethora of great artistes: the outstanding bass and founding father of the Russian operatic performing school Osip Petrov served here; this is where such great singers as Fyodor Chaliapin, Ivan Yershov, Medea and Nikolai Figner and Sofia Preobrazhenskaya honed their skills and rose to glory. Ballet dancers reigned supreme on this stage, among them Mathilde Kschessinska, Anna Pavlova, Vaslav Nijinsky, Galina Ulanova, Rudolf Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov. This is where George Balanchine set out on the road to art. This theatre has witnessed the dawn of the talents of such brilliant theatre decorators as Konstantin Korovin, Alexander Golovin, Alexandre Benois, Simon Virsaladze and Fyodor Fyodorovsky among countless others.
